What we collect
Your questions and readings. The question you type, the cards drawn, and the interpretations generated are stored so we can show you your reading, generate your report, and power your history page.
Your email (only if you buy or sign in). Used to deliver your deep report, send your magic sign-in link, and link your purchases to your account. We never sell it.
Funnel events. We record anonymous usage events (e.g. "reading started", "paywall viewed") with a random session id, UTM parameters, and referrer. This is our own first-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no third-party trackers, no ad pixels.
Payment data. Checkout is handled by our payment processor (Dodo). We receive your email and order status; we never see or store your card number.
What we don't collect
We don't run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site pixels. We don't sell personal data. We don't ask for your name, address, or anything beyond what's needed to deliver readings.
How we use it
To deliver readings and reports, to let you revisit them, to process payments and refunds, and to understand (in aggregate) how the product is used so we can improve it. Readings may be reviewed in aggregate for quality and safety — never sold, never used for advertising.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by contacting us with the email you used. Deleting your data removes your readings, reports, and account. Sign out anytime from the My readings page.
Children
TaroFlip is 18+ and not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note the new date at the top of this page.
